The ideal candidate has experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and/or school aged children. The ideal candidate is able to work independently to follow state and federal guidelines related to confidentiality and best practice. The ideal candidate is able to communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other caregivers/professionals, as well as create their own schedule, deciding when and where services are to be provided (a client’s home, daycare, school, or community setting with potential for after-school/evening, and/or weekend hours). Early Intervention, feeding experience, and other specialized trainings are preferrable.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience providing pediatric speech & language services
Master’s degree in Speech & Language Pathology Program from a CAA ASHA accredited program
New Jersey State license to practice Speech & Language Pathology
ASHA awarded Certificate of Clinical Competence
Proof of professional liability insurance
