Philosophy

Early identification and intervention of speech and language delay is fundamental to building self-esteem, social success, improved academic outcomes, and overall well-being.

Sofia Sullivan SLP takes a child-centered approach to therapy. Goals are targeted in the context of facilitated play. Activities and materials are custom fit to an individual child’s interests, personality, and needs. Intervention focuses on supporting and challenging each child to reach his/her highest level of performance. Therapy utilizes natural consequences, so that skills may be generalized to daily life.
